Thunderbird Farms Subdivision is located in Warren County, Virginia in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley. Our community is comprised of 247 residential parcels of 5 acres or more. The overall goal of the TFPOA is to promote the community welfare within the subdivision.

News & Upcoming Meetings

Special Board Meeting was May 18, 2024 Passed a motion to use Coventry Management Group for financial management (billing, accounting, etc). Next fiscal year starting in July we will be switching to Coventry’s website, but will maintain our content here too.

Next meeting: Saturday June 22nd. Finalize budget. We voted on May 18th for a 10% dues increase (to $519 per year)

How do I become a member of the Thunderbird Farms Property Owners Association (TFPOA)?

Membership in the TFPOA is automatic for all property owners in the Thunderbird Farms Subdivision. Annual dues are required to maintain membership and access to community amenities.

What are the rules and regulations for the Thunderbird Farms community?  How are the rules enforced?

The guidelines for living in Thunderbird Farms are outlined in the Protective Covenants. Complaints are handled with the Complaint and Due Process Procedures. Instructions for submitting a complaint to the association and how it is handled are explained in this article.

Are there any restrictions on building or property maintenance within Thunderbird Farms?

How are Property Owners Associations regulated?  What rights do members have?

Thunderbird Farms POA is a non-stock corporation regulated by the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act

All POA lot owners have specific rights, and the POA board has specific responsibilities regulated by the Virginia POA Act The rights of owners are specified in section 55.1-1807 and prior and subsequent sections. Section 55.1-1815 describes how lot owners must be allowed access to all association records. Section 55.1-1816 describes how all board meetings must be open to all lot owners. Those sections and most of the rest of the POA Act describe the responsibilities of the boards of directors of POAs.

Disclosure Packages

Obtaining Disclosure Packages

Title 55-512 of the Code of Virginia requires property owners to provide a Disclosure Package to a purchaser prior to closing.

Coventry Management Group administers the Disclosure Package including inspection of the property.

To request a Thunderbird Farms Property Owners Disclosure Package, submit your request online by

Once your completed application for a Disclosure Packet has been received, it will be processed promptly in accordance with Title 55-512 of the Code of Virginia and all applicable fees will be collected.
